Odd Semester (Sem 1)

Robot Remote Controller (RRC)

Hey there everyone! It has been a long time since I have made another project. This time around, because I have moved to 8th grade, I have a new project to show to you which is the Robot Remote Controller with Micro:bit! Before I continue, I’ll tell some of the things you have to know before going to the project.

What is micro:bit?
The BBC micro:bit is a pocket-sized computer that introduces you to how software and hardware work together. It has an LED light display, buttons, sensors, and many input/output features that, when programmed, let it interact with you and your world.

Now I want to explain the Robot Remote Controller. It is basically like its name, a robot that you can control with a controller, usually using an IR controller. You can control it with moves (i.e., right, left). To make the code, we use MakeCode from Microsoft. It is a free coding platform used to make codes for micro:bit robots. You can also code some lights you can change, add sound, and many more! This is just the basics.

Maybe that’s all I can explain about the RRC.

Robot Line Follower

Welcome to another project of IoT in 1st semester! Today, I would like to give you my second IoT project which is Robot Line Follower!

Now I want to explain the Robot Remote Controller. It is basically, like its name, a robot that follows the line. It will follow the line that is on the paper, even when the line is not straightforward.

Perhaps that’s all I can explain about the Line Follower.

Disaster Alarm (Quake)

Welcome to another project of IoT in 1st semester! Today, I would like to give you my third IoT project, which is Disaster Alarm!

Now I want to explain the Disaster Alarm. It is basically, like its name, a robot that detects a disaster and alarms it. It will detect some disasters, but in this project it is specifically earthquake detection.

Perhaps that’s all I can explain about the Disaster Alarm.

Vending Machine

Welcome to another project of IoT in 1st semester! Today, I would like to give you my fourth IoT project, which is Vending Machine!

Now I want to explain the Vending Machine. It is basically, like its name, a vending machine, but in this project it is just the simplest version of it that we made in micro:bit.

Perhaps that’s all I can explain about the Vending Machine.

Greenhouse:bit

Welcome to another project of IoT in 1st semester! Today, I would like to give you my fifth IoT project, which is Greenhouse:bit!

Now I want to explain the Greenhouse:bit. It is basically, a temperature sensor or a room temperature detector but in this project it is just the simplest version of it that we made in micro:bit.

Perhaps that’s all I can explain about the Greenhouse:bit.

Husbandry:bit

Welcome to another project of IoT in 1st semester! Today, I would like to give you my last IoT project, which is Husbandry:bit!

Now I want to explain the Husbandry:bit. It is basically, a small smart farm used to help the processing of hsubandry or taking care of animals in farms, like monitoring animals and others. In this project, we only make a presentation of it.

Even Semester (Sem 2)

Smart Home / Parking

Welcome to the first project of IoT in 2nd semester! Today, I would like to give you my first IoT project, which is Smart Home!

Now I want to explain the Smart Home, but in here I took the idea of a smart parking system in your home. It’s basically a home with many IoT stuffs that you can control, that’s why it’s called “smart”. This is made with a team, and my team is; Alvino, Ahza, Azzam, and Radicta. Oh yeah, we also used a coding platform called Wokwi.

Perhaps that’s all I can explain about the Smart Home.

Weather Station using Adafruit IO

Welcome to the second project of IoT in 2nd semester! Today, I would like to give you my first IoT project, which is Weather Station!

Now I want to explain the Weather Station. So, we made Weather Station using Wokwi for the code and the hardware simulation, and Adafruit IO. Adafruit IO is a platform designed to display, respond, and interact with our project’s data. Weather Station is about receiving data of the current weather condition, like the temperature, humidity and others.

Perhaps that’s all I can explain about the Weather Station.

Smart Farm using Ubidots

Welcome to the third project of IoT in 2nd semester! Today, I would like to give you my third IoT project, which is Smart Farm!

Now I want to explain the Smart Farm. So, we made Smart Farm using Arduino for the code and the hardware simulation, and Ubidots. Ubidots is a platform designed to display, respond, and interact with our project’s data, similar to Adafruit. Smart Farm is about receiving data of the current soil condition, like the humidity for our farm.

Oh yeah, this project is with a team, and my team is with Ahza, Zhafran, Chaka & Tama!

Perhaps that’s all I can explain about the Smart Farm.

Smart Greenhouse using Thinger.io

Welcome to the final project of IoT in 2nd semester! Today, I would like to give you my last and final IoT project for this semester and in 8th grade, which is Smart Greenhouse!

Now I want to explain the Smart Greenhouse. So, we made Smart Greenhouse using Wokwi for the code and the hardware simulation, and Thinger.io. Thinger.io is a cloud IoT Platform that provides every needed tool to prototype, scale and manage connected products in a very simple way. Its goal is to democratize the use of IoT making it accessible to the whole world, and streamlining the development of big IoT projects, similar to Adafruit and Ubidots. Smart Greenhouse is about receiving data of the current humidity and temperature condition of our garden or greenhouse.,

Perhaps that’s all I can explain about the Smart Greenhouse.
